What does it mean to be a zero-waste shopper?
Bulk shoppers have access to a variety of bulk bins and dispensers containing large amounts of dry and wet goods which they can package in their own containers and take home.
Being a zero-waste shopper is our social responsibility against unnecessary and inefficient packaging. Bulk shopping provides consumers with a 'feel-good' experiences as visible reduction in personal waste can be very empowering.
Founders Margot Lane (left) and Ella Wightman (right) a.k.a. 'Margella' wanted to start a business which captures the essence of a striving community - by changing the way people reconnect with one another and helping people adopt sustainable ways of living.
We cannot deny that Covid-19 has dramatically changed the way we live and now, more than ever, we recognise the need for a stronger community as it greatly benefits families and businesses in a variety of ways. In an age where technology both connects us and divides us, a local community is essential to our well-being and sense of belongingness.
Margella isn't simply a brand, it's an opportunity for growth and experience.
